They are always friendly and when I really need something easy to get to as well just want the bag of chips I avoid while grocery shopping. However the fact that they have deli offerings is fabulous . I ordered from Subway and had my order cancelled while I was scurrying home at lunch and had no time I was able to grab a bag of chips and sub and it was REALLY GOOD and quick and saved me!!

Some items are a bit pricey but considering there aren't a lot of other mini markets or convenience stores in the area it gets the job done as far as having a lot of snacks, milk, wine, cider, beer, and some deli items.

For a small corner market, when you need a random item or snacks- this is perfect. Yes, prices are slightly more expensive than at the grocery store. That is because this isn't a grocery store- it's a convenience store. For being so small, there is a good selection of beer, beverages, snacks, wine. They also carry a good amount of non perishable meals you can make if you are in a pinch. Additionally, they have toiletries and a few household items.

Too all of the negative reviews: it's a convenient store, what did you expect? Of course it's more expensive than a grocery store. Of course it's nowhere near as stocked. It's tiny and close. It's a convenient store!
This place has everything from feminine products, to champagne, to junk food (the three categories that control my life). The bottle of cava I bought to make mimosas was only $10, about the price I'd pay at Safeway, so I'm pretty pleased with that! There's also the typical junk food you'd expect from a convenient store, as well as some higher end options. The variety is nice. The tiny spot has maximized its space to fit in as much as possible, which I appreciate. Most recently I stopped in for some coconut water after a hike.
However, the hours are not very, erm, convenient. They're not open when other stores are closed, which is 50% of the convenience. Thus, the two docked stars. -

When you live, work or visit in a smaller community such as South Waterfront a convenience store of any type is a blessing. Urbana Market is just that, the only convenience store/market on South waterfront.
Urbana carries a little bit of everything because they realize that they serve a large residential community that depends on them.
Lottery tickets, adult beverages, soda, fresh made deli sandwiches, frozen entrees, ice cream, fruit, soup, personal hygiene items, all kinda snacks and if you need a greeting card they even have those.
Everything is more expensive than if you went to a regular chain grocery store but come on, if you don't feel like driving or don't have the time to go to chain store it's worth running over to Urban Market.
